looking for history of public housing videos

Does anyone have any suggestions for videos (either full length or shorter films) that would provide a good introduction to/history of public housing?  The new Pruit-Igoe Myth documentary seems like an interesting one, but it is apparently not yet available outside the selected-screenings cities. The intended audience is graduate-level planning students who are taking an affordable housing course. Thanks in advance!See More

Affluent Buyers Reviving Market for Miami Homes

Here's an article from yesterday's New York Times that provides some evidence suggesting the housing market in Miami may be recovering somewhat from the foreclosures and depressed values.  Anyone from the Miami area have any response to this? http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/27/business/affluent-buyers-reviving-market-for-miami-homes.html?src=me&ref=generalSee More

Segregation in the land of limousine liberalism

This is more a case of exclusionary, rather than inclusionary zoning, but I thought I would post it in this forum anyway. For those not familiar with the legal battle going on right now in Westchester County, it is definitely a case worth looking into and following in the months (and possibly years) to come. I saw a presentation on this case in February at the New Partners Conference by Michael Allen of Relman, Dane & Colfax, who has been working on the case.  It was part of a session on…See More
