Not only this. Many homeowners are fighting to keep their house from foreclosure. They're hiring a foreclosure lawyers to represent them. This is one way to stop foreclosure.

Impact of downpayment requirements in QRM proposal

Launch of the Emergency Homeowners' Loan Program

NeighborWorks America and HUD recently launched a foreclosure prevention program aimed at helping homeowners with temporary mortgage affordability problems -- particularly those caused by situations such as job loss and medical issues.
