Some of CEDAM's members in Michigan own vacant properties in areas without a strong land bank. They are unable to find property insurance for these properties at a reasonable cost. One member was even canceled by their previous insurer, despite ten years of premiums paid and no claims made. We've been asking everyone we can think of (including land bank experts Frank Alexander and Dan Kildee) , but so far have found no solutions.
