Preserving a Manufactured Housing Community

The Housing Assistance Council recently released a research note entitled Preserving Affordable Manufactured Home Communities in Rural Americ....  As the title implies, the note describes how one community in Montana transitioned from an investor-owned to a resident-owned property.  The investor was a motivated seller thanks to new legislation in Montana that grants tax credits to investors who sell properties to their residents.
