New ACEEE Study: "Energy Efficiency Loan Financing Proving to be a Low Risk Investment with Large-Scale Potential"

This new study includes analysis of 18 residential energy efficiency loan programs, as well as a key recommendations for policymakers.

A few quantitative results from across the 18 programs:

- the default rate was 0-3%

- average loan amount was $9,100, with an average interest rate of 5.3%

- payback periods were 3-5 years

- average annual origination budget was $11 million

Obviously these numbers don't mean too much out of context - I have attached the full paper, or go to: http://aceee.org/research-report/u115
