Financing for 0-30% AMI groups without Section 8
Hi All,
I'd like to know if you are familiar with groups that have successfully financed affordable housing projects benefitting 0-30% AMI households without the use of Section 8 funds. A government housing director is looking for case study examples that illustrate such creative financing mechanisms. Please share some excellent examples.

This is a bit disheartening that nobody has replied. I've heard that some states require a certain percentage of their LIHTC units to serve this population-I think Minnesota in conjunction with the Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness?
